Manager, Finance Systems

Job Description

• Enthusiastic and very hands-on individual who is functionally sound and has a flair for ERP, budgeting and financial reporting systems from a finance user perspective
• Quick to understand finance user needs and has the ability to recommend, design and implement systems/solution to address process gaps, improve, standardise and automate finance work processes and reports
• Draw flow charts, prepare step-by-step guide and give demonstration of newly implemented systems/solutions for finance users to ensure smooth adoption. Provide post implementation support together with IT and service provider
• Sensitive to project timeline. Endeavour to solve open issues promptly. Provide regular feedback to manager on project status and areas needing attention
• Develop test scripts, perform and complete user acceptance test (UAT) within timeline
• Provide functional support to finance users. Partner IT and service provider to solve day to day application, usage and access issues
• Review and prioritize change request submitted by finance users for implementation

Job Requirement

• Bachelor of Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 7 years of experience
• Independent and self-driven
• Outgoing and able to work with colleagues at all levels in a fast pace environment
• Able to give direction to solve system/process issues after assessing accounting and reporting requirements in the light of system capabilities and constraints

• High proficiency in SAP ERP (in FICO, PS, SD, MM, PP and SM modules), Jedox and MS Excel
• High proficiency in Hyperion Financial Manager and Financial Data Quality Management
