Senior Commercial Executive - Ship Repairs (Pioneer Sect)

Responsibilities:

 

  • Handling and processing customers enquiries and feedback
  • Registering and tracking of all sales opportunities and update data/information gathered
  • Daily administrative work including prepare quotation, DO and Invoices
  • Monitor and expedite customer order to ensure on-time delivery of goods and billing
  • Review and assist in pre and post tender document including progress claim and cost sheet submission
  • Review and monitor project costing and profitability
  • To analyses cost and prepare cost estimation based on tender specifications
  • To obtain techno-commercial proposal from vendors for cost analysis
  • To perform vendor commercial bid analysis against tender specification
  •  Assist in tender clarification and negotiation with equipment vendors
  • Prepare credible cost estimates for managements and cost
  • Liaison with ship owner and negotiate and coordinate with all parties on project schedule.      
  • Source, evaluate and select subcontractors/vendors quotations to meet project tender and pricing requirement
  • Prepare cost estimate(s) cost breakdown and cost summary based on technical/ engineering inputs and customers’ tender requirement.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     

Requirements:

 

  • Degree or Diploma in Engineering related
  • 3 years’ experience in estimating/project coordination in the marine, oil and gas industry or petrol-chemical/ petroleum industry  design & build project, marine industry
  • Able to interpret drawing for costing and estimation.
  • Proficient and competent in MS office application.
  • Experience in the use of SAP R3 is an added advantage
  • A team player, flexible and be readily adaptable to changing conditions and demands.
  • Able to work without supervision, equipped with strong customer service mind set.
  • Good interpersonal, organization and computer skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.

  • Nearest MRT/Interchange: Joo Koon MRT Station / Joo Koon Bus Interchange
  • Daily Transportation Reimbursed on monthly basis
  • 5 days work week
  • Working Hours: 7.25am-5pm
