Senior Procurement Executive | ST Engineering (URS & Satcom)

Role Overview

Reporting directly to the Senior Procurement Manager, the Senior Procurement Executive is a high-impact role driving the end-to-end acquisition of materials and services. We are seeking a commercially-minded professional who transcends tactical buying to drive tangible value, mitigate supply chain risks, and serve as a strategic partner to our global business units.


Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sourcing & Market Intelligence: Cultivate a resilient supply base and monitor global economic shifts to provide insights that influence project forecasting and budgeting.

  • Tender Leadership: Lead complex RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes, ensuring all activities align with corporate governance while maintaining operational agility.

  • Commercial Negotiation: Execute sophisticated negotiation strategies to optimize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), securing competitive pricing, risk-sharing frameworks, and robust SLAs.

  • Financial & Data Analysis: Conduct rigorous cost-structure analysis and build data-driven business cases to justify award recommendations to senior management.

  • Stakeholder Management: Act as a bridge between internal departments to align procurement strategies with evolving operational needs.

  • Contract & Risk Management: Proactively identify supply chain vulnerabilities, manage vendor performance, and lead dispute resolutions to ensure continuity of supply.

  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the full PO lifecycle—including change orders and delivery tracking—ensuring seamless financial reconciliation.


Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in procurement or supply chain, ideally within an engineering or industrial environment.

  • Education: Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management.

  • Business Acumen: A strong commercial mindset with the ability to understand P&L impacts and identify value-creation opportunities.

  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in SAP (or similar ERP systems) and the MS Office Suite.

  • Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to multitask and prioritize tasks based on business urgency and bottom-line impact.

  • Communication: A confident communicator capable of influencing stakeholders across diverse levels and backgrounds.

  • Integrity: High ethical standards with a meticulous eye for detail and a self-motivated drive for excellence.
