System Designer (WIG)

Location: Commonwealth

Key Job Accountabilities:
•    To generate 3D designs, engineering drawings required for WIG craft for the associated systems:

• Propulsion System
• Flight Control (Mechanical)
• Air conditioning
• Hydraulics
• Fuel System

•    To ensure designs meet customer and IMO certification requirements
•    To interact closely with engineers from other disciplines to achieve an optimized design within the stipulated project schedule
•    To support prototyping and production activities

•    To generate engineering documents to support certification, prototyping and production effort

•    To support production of technical publications through life-cycle of products

•    To liaise with external vendors to establish requirements and ensure timely delivery of kits/support/documents

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering
• Knowledge of CATIA and PTC Windchill, for 3D modeling and 2D drawings required. Experience with similar CAD software will be considered
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word/ Excel/ Power Point)
• Innovative and enjoys solving problems
• Independent and resourceful worker
• Must be a self-motivated team player
• Experience with marine classification programs will be an advantage
