Title:  Assistant Engineer

• Support production activities
• Liaise with other departments on the delivery requirement of customer orders
• Support production activities, WIP tracking and liaising with customer delivery scheduling.
• Liaise with QA department to resolve any non-compliance to ensure satisfactory corrective actions
• Lead and manage Continuous Improvement to reduce cycle time evaluate/recommend production equipment replacement
• Lead and manage 5s and TPM for plant and machining
• Design machine fixtures for casting machining
• Implementation and streamlining of production process to improve productivity
• Assist in developing scope of work for the provision of provided outsourced services
• Assist in develop standard operating procedure and risk assessment for routine and non-routine works
• Support the estimate of annual budgets required for service contracts, building maintenance and minor works
• Support and assist to engineer for building services project which includes civil and structural works
• Attend daily meetings on day-to-day operation issues and participate actively in resolving issues pertaining to work areas
• Carry out Facility Maintenance work tasks assigned and close work order in a timely manner
• Provide guidance and supervision to in-house contractors and service contract providers
• Ensure and maintain a high level of safety standards on all the works supervised to meet company goal in safety performance
• Work closely with inhouse contractors and service contract providers to meet the performance metric established
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks assigned from time to time

 Requirements

• Computer literacy (including good command of Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point)
• Ability to multi-tasks and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines
• Knowledge in SAP is an advantage
• Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills (verbal and written – In English and Chinese) Good communication and interpersonal skill

• Diploma in Precision / Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in manufacturing environment preferred
• Possess class 3 driving licens
