Title:  Production Engineer

Purpose of the Job:

Oversee production for engine programs to ensure timely engine delivery at highest productivity, quality and safety levels while interfacing with customers to build strong rapport

Key Job Accountabilities:

• Work closely with internal and external parties to plan, monitor and drive production schedules for Engine Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) processes
• Spearhead Continuous Improvement projects as well as Digitalization and Automation initiatives to reduce cost and drive productivity
• Lead in customer focus teams to liaise with customers and coordinate with various functions such as Sales, Customer Support, Materials and Engineering to ensure customer satisfaction in all engine maintenance programs
• Ensure compliance of quality standards and regulations laid down by airworthiness authorities and engine OEMs
• Promote a safety culture within the production team and coordinate all environment health and safety issues for the business unit to ensure a safe workplace

Reporting Relationships:

• This position reports to Production Manager, Operations

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum degree in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering
• Good knowledge of gas turbine engines
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• A team player with good communication skills
• Project management and leadership skills
• Candidates without experience will be considered
