Description: 

A Senior Technician in the Component Repair section at ST Engineering Aerospace's Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) division plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of aircraft component maintenance. The primary responsibilities include performing various repair processes, adhering to production schedules, maintaining equipment, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.​

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair Processes: Execute specialized repair tasks such as plasma spray, water jet, shot peening, heat treatment, cleaning, masking, blasting, sheet-metal work, assembly and dis-assembly and quality inspection.

  • Production Adherence: Meet stringent repair production schedules and delivery requirements, ensuring timely and efficient processing of components. ​

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of repair activities, including proper documentation of processes and compliance with quality standards. ​

  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in quality, safety, cost control initiatives, and continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.

  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with team members, supporting shift rotations and overtime work as necessary to meet production demands. ​

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Minimum Higher NITEC in Engineering, preferably with experience in the component overhaul or repair industry. ​

  • Experience: Experience with MRO processes and ARC qualification is advantageous. ​

  • Work Schedule: Ability to work and support overtime production work as required.

  • Communication Skills: Basic command of written and spoken English to effectively document and communicate repair activities. ​
