Title:  Avionics System Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Avionics System Engineer to join our dynamic team at ST Engineering Defence Aviation Services. As an integral member of our Engineering Solutions division, you will be responsible for the development, integration, testing, and support of advanced avionics systems within our aviation projects. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement avionics systems and sub-systems in compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, software developers, and test personnel to ensure seamless integration of avionics components.
• Perform system requirement analysis, design reviews, and verification to validate system performance and reliability.
• Lead and support troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and resolution of avionics system issues during development and operational phases.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including system specifications, interface control documents, and test procedures.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure project milestones are met within schedule and budget.
• Stay abreast of technological advances in avionics and recommend improvements or upgrades to existing systems.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related engineering discipline is required.
• Preferably experienced in avionics systems design, integration, and testing within the aerospace or defence sectors.
• Strong understanding of avionics standards such as DO-178, DO-254, ARINC protocols, and MIL-STD requirements will be an added advantage.
• Familiarity with system engineering processes, including requirements management, system modelling, and validation techniques.
• Proficiency in using engineering tools and simulation software relevant to avionics system development.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work collaboratively in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams while demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
