Job Summary
The instructor is responsible for delivering high‑quality training in aeronautical engineering–related subjects to support the Commercialized Air Engineering Initio Training programme for the Air Force. This role involves the systematic development, review, and continuous improvement of training materials, lesson plans, and assessment systems to ensure alignment with operational requirements and training objectives. The instructor will analyse training performance data and post‑training feedback to identify gaps and implement enhancements to training effectiveness. The instructor is expected to conduct structured classroom and practical training while upholding rigorous technical, safety, and instructional standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Instructional Design & Curriculum Development
- Review, develop, and update training materials and plans, including syllabus, training notes, aids, and programming.
- Develop and periodically review examinations and practical assessments to ensure alignment with course objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Analyse trainee performance data and post-training feedback, to identify improvement areas and enhance curriculum.
2. Training Delivery
- Plan, coordinate, and conduct training sessions according to approved course curriculum and courses work plans.
- Apply effective instructional techniques and utilize training aids to optimize learning outcomes.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to trainees, offering regular feedback on performance.
- Ensure compliance with correct work processes and safety standards during all practical training activities.
- Plan, conduct, track, and report assessments in line with course requirements.
3. Instructional Excellence & Innovation
- Integrate innovative teaching methods, educational technology (EdTech), and modern pedagogical approaches to create interactive learning experiences.
- Promote active learning through discussions, projects, and collaborative activities.
- Incorporate VR/AR/MR technologies (if avail) and gamification strategies to enhance engagement and knowledge retention.
Performance Metrics
- Training Quality: Positive trainee feedback and high course evaluation scores.
- Compliance: Adherence to regulatory and organizational training standards.
- Assessment Accuracy: Timely and accurate grading and reporting of trainee performance.
- Innovation: Successful integration of new technologies and methods into training programs.
- Continuous Improvement: Documented curriculum updates based on feedback and performance analysis.
Requirement:
- Diploma/Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or related discipline.
- Certified Instructor with experience in aeronautical engineering (preferred)
