Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and monitor the timely arrival of aircraft spare parts to meet operational targets.
  • Oversee warehouse management activities to ensure efficient material handling and storage.
  • Manage inventory and stock levels, including monitoring and controlling spare parts replenishment as needed.
  • Handle billing processes between the Finance team and customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Administer the Material Costing Fund, including cost recovery from customers where applicable.
  • Supervise the repair management process for all aircraft components, ensuring quality and turnaround time targets are met.
  • Ensure spare parts required for maintenance activities are issued and delivered on time, in line with production and customer requirements.
  • Forecast and expedite aircraft spares to support production demands.
  • Act as a liaison between internal support teams, procurement, and customers to promptly resolve production and logistics-related issues.
  • Review and validate documentation for compatibility and completeness, addressing any discrepancies in spare parts paperwork.
  • Compile and present monthly reports on spare part statuses to support effective production planning.
  • Prepare presentation materials related to material issues for internal and customer meetings as required.
  • Respond to ad-hoc customer requests and ensure service levels are maintained.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing materials processes and operational efficiency.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management, or ex-RSAF AFE with relevant experience in Supply Chain and Procurement.
  • Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and solve complex problems related to supply chain management. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders, building strong relationships and fostering collaboration. 
  • In-depth understanding of supply chain principles, including inventory management, demand planning, procurement, and logistics. 
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues related to material shortages, supplier delays, and other supply chain disruptions that may result in AOG situation.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise System (ES) and SAP.
