We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Technician I to join our proficient team within the MRO Services division at ST Engineering Defence Aviation Services Pte. Ltd. This role is based at our Aero facility located at 507 Airport Road, where you will contribute to supporting our depot and international business operations through specialist transport maintenance and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repair tasks on depot transport vehicles, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and regulatory standards.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults, documenting findings and applied solutions accurately.
• Collaborate closely with other departments within Depot & International Business to coordinate vehicle availability and readiness for service needs.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records and inventory of spare parts to support efficient operations and asset management.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and safety within depot transport services.
• Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
• Participate in training sessions and skill development programs to stay current with evolving technologies and practices in aviation transport maintenance.

Candidate Profile

• Relevant technical qualification or diploma in mechanical or automotive engineering or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair techniques, ideally within an aviation or defence environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to read technical manuals and interpret circuit diagrams.
• Good communication and teamwork skills to effectively interact with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality in all tasks performed.
• A proactive approach to safety and compliance with established procedures.
• Willingness to adapt to a dynamic work environment and flexible with work schedules as necessary.
