To manage, coordinate and drive supply chain activities and processes to achieve Airbus Passenger-to-Freighter (P2F) programme objectives/goals:
The successful candidate will work with Program Managers to ensure programme objectives are met across all modification sites globally. Additionally, the successful candidate will also work with various internal teams such as Engineering, Supplier Management team, Logistics team, Manufacturing Team, Quality department as well as external parties such as Suppliers and Aircraft Modification Sites.
The successful candidate may lead project executives to ensure programme objectives are met across all modification sites globally.
Overview of workscope required (not limited to) :
- Measure, report and present programme performance to various internal and external stakeholders on a periodic basis using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
- Recommend make/buy decisions to supplier management team to drive parts procurement. Plan procurement strategies to ensure on-time fulfilment of parts demand.
- Manage Procurement budgets and Cost Savings for programmes
- Spot or anticipate issues and report accordingly and escalate to upper management as required. Propose mitigation steps and/or solutions to issues.
- Coordinate and oversee the prompt implementation of such mitigation steps and/or solutions.
- Communicate and manage relationship with customers and stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and third parties.
- Manage contracts with suppliers.
- Perform sales of spares to customers.
- Draft memos and approval papers for proposals, requests, coordination between various parties and/or to management.
- Create and maintain comprehensive programme documentation and filing
- Develops strong relationship with key stakeholders, facilitates input/priority to drive decisions.
- Responsible for projects to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Accountable for all program communication, attainment of milestones, managing to budget and other financial matters.
