Title:  Facility Technician

Roles & Responsibilities

1. 1. Ensure facilities maintenance are carried out properly in accordance with checklist.
   2. Ensure maintenance servicing checklists are endorsed and archived post maintenance.
   3. Liaise with IFM contractors for any servicing and ad-hoc repair.
   4. Do regular walkabout checks and report any facility defect to IFM for follow up.
   5. Check and remove any potential water ponding sites to prevent mosquito breeding.
   6. Ensure that environmental parameters are well controlled within the stipulated range in the rooms in the facility.
   7. De-conflict between facility maintenance schedule and operational schedule to prevent unnecessary time wastage.
   8. Be able to carry out basic maintenance checks and repair, for eg, Checking the functionality of exit light signages, clearing of choked toilets.
   9. Ensure that contractors are cleared by Authority before entering the facility.
   10. Liaise with external vendors for non-IFM facility related repair/maintenance, for eg, Fire extinguisher maintenance, cold/hot water dispenser maintenance.
   11. Escort contractors/vendors while maintenance works are being carried out.
   12. Maintain and upkeep a record of all facilities related faults for tracking purposes.
   13. Attend Monthly Facility Maintenance Meeting to update on statuses and action items.
   14. Raise request for addition/amendment of facility installations to IFM for their approval prior to any commencement of installation.
   15. Update IFM on the water and electricity usage monthly for usage trend monitoring.
   16. Manage Keypress access, Card access system to ensure only authorized personnel have the rights to access certain area on a need-to basis.
   17. Ensure that all fire fighting equipment is free from obstructions and readily accessible.
