Job Descriptions
Responsible for the stable operation and security of the in-house computer software systems and network connections
Build, configure, monitor and maintain all network components including routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, leased-lines, ISPs and related systems and diagnose problems
Provide users with hardware/software support including network and PC troubleshooting
Perform routine maintenance and upkeep of the server and network equipment
Liaise and work with external vendors/partners for project delivery and support
Engage with back-line support and/or vendor support to diagnose and resolve technical issues
Work with infrastructure architects to rationalize the technical design and ensure the solution works well with Government infrastructure, policies, standards and security requirements
Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in design, deployment, operation and management of enterprise and/or cloud infrastructure
Provide operation support for the secure infrastructure
Ensure smooth service delivery and implementation within the business context
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
Network certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE
3-5 years of experience in configuring and managing routers and switches, firewall products
Strong understanding of network systems, architecture, routing, switching, firewall, and security
Proficiency in network analysis and troubleshooting using network and protocol analyzers
