Title:  Quality Engineer

Responsible to the Quality Manager for the following areas:

1. Ensure the efficient functioning of all quality aspects within the assigned area;
2. Supervise, advise, train and mentor personnel under his charge;
3. Assign day-to-day duties to Quality Inspectors under his charge;
4. Liaise with company departments, subcontractors and/or customers to analyse and review defects or deficiencies in aircraft maintenance practices;
5. Formulate recommendations for the purpose of improving standards;
6. Conduct investigation and facilitate the reporting of internal and external incident and accidents;
7. Assist the quality management to conduct competency tests and the approval of aircraft personnel;
8. Perform audits in accordance with the approved internal audit programme;
9. Perform surveillance of production areas for compliance to SOP / Safety requirements;
10. Perform maintenance, review and promulgation of SOP / Quality manuals;
11. Compile and review aircraft summary reports in conjunction with Technical Records Office;
12. Knowledge of CAA Part 145 will be an added advantage
13. Posses good technical writing skills and knowledge of Microsoft application
14. Any other duties as directed by HOD Q&S or Quality Manager

Requirement:

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent is preferred
