Job Overview
We are looking for an Embodied AI Engineer to work on humanoid robot projects, focusing on integrating perception, decision-making, and control across simulation and real-world systems at ST Engineering, AI.DA Strategic Technology Centre (STC). This role involves hands-on development using modern robotics frameworks and simulation platforms, with a strong emphasis on deploying embodied intelligence on humanoid robots.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain ROS 2–based robotic systems for humanoid robots
- Develop core embodied AI components using C++ and Python
- Build, test, and validate humanoid robot behaviors in NVIDIA Isaac Sim
- Use Isaac Lab for robot learning workflows (e.g., reinforcement learning, policy training, evaluation)
- Integrate perception, locomotion, manipulation, and control modules
- Debug and optimize system performance in both simulation and real-world environments
- Collaborate closely with AI researchers and robotics engineers on end-to-end humanoid AI systems
Required Skills
- At least a Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Strong working experience with ROS 2
- Proficient in C++ and Python
- Hands-on experience with NVIDIA Isaac Sim
- Familiarity with Isaac Lab for robot learning or control development
- Solid foundation in robotics fundamentals (kinematics, dynamics, control, sensing)
Preferred (Bonus) Skills
- Prior experience working on robot projects
- Experience with reinforcement learning, imitation learning, or control policy training
- Knowledge of locomotion and whole-body control for humanoid robots
- Experience with sim-to-real transfer and real robot deployment
