Manager, Procurement (Governance & Sustainability)
Job Description:
Reporting to the Manager, Procurement Process Governance, you will be a change agent in building a culture of process efficiency and effectiveness through continuous improvement and Procurement related transformation activities. You will also be a key driver within Group Procurement HQ to work closely with the Procurement leadership team, business stakeholders and various functional leads in managing governance risk and compliance.
You will support procurement functions across the Group strategically through value-add as a Procurement governance partner in the following areas:

Identify and standardise processes, policies and practices consistent with the Group Procurement direction, which relates to procure-to-pay processes, supplier management and due diligence requirements, contract management, supplier performance and management reporting

Develop communication and change management plans for Procurement initiatives and improvement projects

Review internal guidelines to ensure efficient, effective and well-controlled purchasing process

Collaborate with internal stakeholders on the roll-out and implementation of new Procurement transformation initiatives and process changes

Perform vendor screening for risks relating to environment, social and governance (ESG) criteria and conduct compliance reviews to identify and address gaps

Drive Responsible Procurement initiatives and support Group Sustainability efforts (Eg. ESG compliance, Carbon Emission, Human Rights expectations, Physical and Climate risk mitigation plans etc)

Develop and maintain global-level Procurement business process procedures and documentation
The Successful Applicant:
The ideal candidate should have Bachelor/ Master’s Degree in Business, Business Administration/ Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field of study qualified with
· At least 3 - 5 years of experience in Procurement with proven track records in leading and driving continuous improvements projects
· Strong project management skills and demonstrated ability to drive change management and continuous improvement activities
· Possess strong communication and stakeholders management; able to influence and drive changes with operational and business stakeholders.
· Candidates with experience working with and/or managing Procurement Business Partners relationship will be required. Team player preferably with cross-cultural skills.
· Familiarity with SAP and ERP systems relating to procure-to-pay, contract management and vendor management would be advantageous.
· Knowledge in Sustainable Procurement practices, LEAN Six Sigma methodologies and ISO standards: 9001, 140001 and 18001 would be advantageous
· Have relevant analytical skills to provide insight into procurement process.
