About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer specialising in Full stack web application development, you will spearhead the design, development, and optimisation of data-driven applications and analytics platforms. Your expertise will enable the transformation of complex analytics workflows into software products resulting actionable intelligence, supporting strategic initiatives and operational excellence across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Involve in full-stack software product development life cycle.
• Develop high-quality reusable software modules.
• Customize software product to specific business needs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product owner, pre-sales, data scientists, business analysts, and software engineers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering knowledge sharing and professional growth within the team.
• Conduct code reviews and uphold best practices in software development, ensuring maintainability and performance optimisation.
• Engage with key stakeholders to understand evolving business needs and deliver solutions that align with organisational goals.
• Assess commercial and open-source products and integration into software products.
• Release planning of software product.
• Developing prototype screens and converting into working software products.

Professional Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering with a strong focus on full-stack software development. Balanced between product and project development experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Spring MVC and Spring Boot micro services frameworks.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in developing web applications using Angular or React technologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used for software development, such as Java, Angular or React and Docker technologies.
• Strong foundation in object-oriented programming, MVC, REST API Security, access management and containerization concepts.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in using AI tools for coding and software development life cyle.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure and Google Cloud) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to interact effectively with diverse teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs in a dynamic environment.
• Good to have skills such as building of automated DevOps pipelines using Git and Jenkins tools.
• Experience with Kubernetes and ArgoCD is an advantage.
