Department: Airframe & Engine (Changi)

We are seeking a diligent and motivated Assistant Engineer to join our Airframe & Engine division at ST Engineering Aerospace Services. This role is based at our state-of-the-art facility located at 8 Changi North Way, where you will have the opportunity to develop your engineering skills within a dynamic and supportive environment.

As an Assistant Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the maintenance and repair activities for aircraft components, focusing on both airframes and engines. Your responsibilities will include assisting senior engineers in inspections, troubleshooting, and technical evaluations to ensure all activities meet stringent safety and quality standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the engineering team in conducting detailed inspections and servicing of aircraft airframes and engine components.
  • Assist in diagnosing faults and implementing corrective actions in line with organisational procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Document maintenance and repair work accurately and comprehensively to ensure compliance with aviation standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate efficient workflow and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies in all engineering operations.
  • Participate in training programs and professional development to maintain knowledge of current aerospace technologies and regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated interest or experience in aircraft maintenance, airframe, and engine systems is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication abilities and the capacity to work collaboratively within a diverse team.
  • Commitment to safety and quality, with an understanding of regulatory frameworks in aerospace.
  • Proactive approach to learning and adapting within a fast-paced technical environment.
