About the Role

As a Senior Admin Assistant in Technical Record, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining technical documentation that is essential for aircraft certifications, maintenance records, and compliance with aviation standards. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and maintain technical records and documents related to aircraft maintenance and modifications in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, and quality assurance teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of record-keeping processes and systems to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Monitor document control procedures, ensuring timely updates and distribution of technical manuals and records.
  • Support audits and inspections by providing necessary documentation and responding to technical queries.
  • Maintain electronic and physical filing systems, ensuring retrievability and security of sensitive information.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments and external regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth technical record management.
  • Train and mentor junior administrative staff in documentation best practices and compliance standards.

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in administering technical records, preferably within the aerospace or aviation industry.
  • Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities to handle complex documentation workflows.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact across teams and with regulatory agencies.
  • Understanding of aviation regulations and standards related to technical record-keeping is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information responsibly.
