Engineer, Diversion (Infra Planning)

Responsibilities: 

• End-to-end project management for all diversion and new provisioning works 

• Attend of site surveys together with contractors, clients & developers 

• Planning & execution of all necessary civil and fibre works  

• Project managing contractors and ensure timely completion of projects 

• Manage project budget & verification of claim submission 

• Update As-Built / project completion reports in GIS 

• Manage conflict resolution with regards to payment, access and installation 

• Lead and manage maintenance projects and ensure timely recovery of services 

• Provide standby support after office hours when needed 

• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior from time to time.  

Role Requirements: 

• Degree in telecommunication, computer engineering or IT related field 

• At least 3 years of working experience in passive infrastructure operations (inside or outside plant operations) 

• Strong technical knowledge of outside plant infrastructure which include civil pipe works and fibre optic cable works 

• Able to negotiate and work with difficult clients and strong project management skills 

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with contractors, colleagues and building management team / developers 

• Independent, self-driven, highly customer focused and able to work under high-pressure environment especially during emergency restoration of telecommunications services 

• Good communication skills, keen to learn and a team player 

• Applicants with class 3 driving license will have an added advantage
