Responsible for processing claims submitted by individuals and their employers in accordance with established guidelines, ensuring that all data captured into the system is complete and accurate to support timely payment computation. When claim payment computations are rejected by the system, you will be required to perform manual computation. You will explain claim policies clearly to customers, addressing their queries in a professional and helpful manner, while ensuring that only necessary documentation is requested to minimise inconvenience to them.

For complex cases, you will be expected to discuss and escalate them appropriately for review and decision by the relevant parties. You will also proactively identify areas for improvement and provide feedback on system enhancements that can strengthen operational effectiveness.

  • Process – Assess about 50 claims on daily basis – verify that claims are submitted accurately and in accordance with policies, seek clarification or further inputs from claimants where necessary and processed the claims within stipulated service standards.
  • Coordinate – Correspond with internal teams to ensure that the system is working as required.
  • Investigate – Report data inaccuracies in payroll systems and report to managers and clients for advice. Highlight and recommend improvements and solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Audit – Maintain a proper record of documentation used to support the claim approval.
  • Communicate – Provide clear and concise responses to any queries raised through email/phone in a professional manner to achieve positive customer experience.

 

Qualities We Value

 

  • Minimum GCE ‘A’ Levels or Diploma
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Individuals with claim processing experience will be preferred
  • Excellent numeracy, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Meticulous and have a keen eye for details with an inquiring mind.
