The Software Lead is responsible for overseeing the analysis, design, development, and qualification of simulation software modules used for training on our simulation systems.

• The role will require both technical and interpersonal skills to lead a development team to complete assigned tasks with quality and on schedule.
• The role requires technical analysis, design skills to translate requirements into software modules, and to design test plan for the requirements for the modules to be developed by team members, adhering to the assigned SDLC model.
• Analysis, design and development of the software modules will require the role to
  o Work with the team to analyze requirements and scope up an overall software design
  o Lead the team to translate user requirements into software design
  o Be responsible for the team’s software sub-module design, implementation and testing
  o Lead and work with team members for software integration and testing to meet delivery
  o Expected to work on assigned project independently and be able to work well within a team setting to meeting overall project objectives
• Expected to work with 3rd party components/tools (and vendors) and integrate them into a working solution and deploy them at scale.
• Interface with end-customers to understand system needs
• Document write-up, including design, operation, test cases and software
• Provide software training to software end users

Qualities We Value 

• Software development experience/knowledge in using programming language (C++) and OOAD.
• Experienced/familiar with working in a Windows environment with .Net Framework.
• Familiar with modern testing tools and other best practices will be an advantage
• Analytical and creative thinking.
• Ability to conduct research and testing.

• Good communication skills, teamwork and adaptability are essential.
