Job Summary
As a HR Business Partner, you will be the key strategic and operational partner to the leadership and employees in the new startup environment. You will help to scale our people processes, building a thriving culture and ensure we attract, retain and development our talent. You will work closely with business leaders, managers and HR Center of Excellence (CoE) to shape the people strategy, execute all HR initiatives and drive functional excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the leadership to understand business needs and translate them into effective people strategies.
- Champion the culture and foster an inclusive and high-performing environment.
- Lead the ramp-up of our workforce – drive the recruiting, onboarding, and people processes during the high-growth phase.
- Build effective relationships with all levels of the organization, providing guidance and coaching on employee relations, performance and development issues.
- Collaborate with the HR CoE in providing local market intelligence and practices in reviewing and formulating practical employee value proposition, sound program, strategies, framework, and guidelines in all areas of HR functions to attract, groom and retain talents to support business growth.
- Understand the internal and external customer environment, needs and expectations, thereafter, deriving practical add-value solutions to close the gap and support sustainable business growth.
- Lead and support organizational development and transformational strategies including change management, conflict resolution, teambuilding, coaching, Employee Engagement Survey and/or other necessary strategies.
- Drive annual performance review and compensation / benefit review.
- Manage, inspire, and develop the internal HR capabilities and bench strength.
- Play a critical role in workforce planning and talent succession planning by collaborating with business leaders to identify long-term talent and capabilities needed to deliver the business strategy.
- Leverage on data and insights to derive or enhance people strategies.
Requirements
- Training in a related discipline with at least 8 years of relevant HR experience, ideally in a high-growth or startup tech environment.
- Good track record of success in partnering business leaders to support business growth and plans.
- Good understanding of HR best practices across the employee lifecycle and demonstrated the ability to provide effective HR solutions.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and credibility.
- Ability to think ahead and anticipate business and people needs.
- Experience navigating complex challenges with poise and problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines without compromising quality.
