About our Line of Business – Cloud & Data Centre Solutions

ST Engineering Cloud and Data Centre Solutions Pte Ltd provide all aspects of cloud management, services, and solutions, from initial setup and migration to ongoing operations and optimization. Services include engineering works to design, build and provide facility management service for mission critical environments such data centers, disaster recovery, and business continuity sites.

We are seeking an experienced Presales Solution Architect to support enterprise and public sector engagements in Singapore. This role requires strong expertise in multi-cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS), with working knowledge of Huawei Cloud being advantageous. Experience in designing and proposing solutions aligned with Singapore Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) requirements is essential.

The successful candidate will work closely with sales teams, customers, and delivery architects to design scalable, secure, and compliant cloud solutions. You will engage customers during the presales phase, translate business and technical requirements into robust architecture designs, and contribute to the development of compelling and competitive technical proposals.

This role demands a strong balance of technical depth, customer-facing engagement, and effective communication skills to support complex enterprise and government cloud transformation initiatives.

Be Part of Our Success

Presales Engagement

• Engage customers to understand their business objectives, technical challenges, and compliance requirements.
• Conduct technical discovery workshops, solution walkthroughs, and architecture presentations.
• Collaborate closely with account and sales teams to support sales pursuits, proposals, and RFP responses.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the presales lifecycle, from opportunity qualification through proposal submission.

Solution Architecture & Design

• Design end-to-end cloud architectures across Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Huawei Cloud (good to have).
• Develop architecture solutions for:
• Cloud migration initiatives
• Hybrid cloud deployments
• Multi-cloud environments
• Application modernization programs
• Design and document cloud landing zones, networking, identity management, and security architectures.
• Ensure all solutions are scalable, resilient, secure, and aligned with industry and cloud provider best practices.

Government & Compliance Alignment

• Design cloud solutions aligned with Singapore Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) requirements.
• Ensure architectures comply with relevant security, governance, and regulatory standards, including:
• IM8 guidelines
• MTCS requirements
• Data protection and security zoning principles
• Support security architecture reviews, risk assessments, and compliance discussions with customers and stakeholders.

Qualities We Value

• 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure engineering, or solution design.
• 3+ years of experience in presales or customer-facing architecture roles.
• Proven experience delivering cloud solutions for enterprise and/or government sector clients in Singapore.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, deadline-driven pre-sales environments.

Cloud Platforms

• Strong hands-on experience in at least two of the following cloud platforms:
• Microsoft Azure
• Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Huawei Cloud (working knowledge preferred)
• Experience designing high availability, resilience, and disaster recovery solutions.

Presales & Customer Engagement

• Proven experience in customer-facing presales or solution architecture roles.
• Ability to conduct technical workshops, architecture deep dives, and solution discussions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience preparing technical proposals, solution architecture documents, and cost estimates.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
