As a Senior Engineer, you will be involved in designing, developing, and enhancing simulation technologies that simulate real-world land operations with precision and realism. This role demands a strong technical expertise combined with leadership capabilities to guide projects from concept through to deployment. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including software developers, hardware engineers, and system integrators, ensuring that complex systems meet rigorous performance, reliability, and safety standards.

  • Work on software design and development of advanced simulation platforms tailored for land-based applications and integration.
  • Contribute to system architecture decisions and ensure scalability and modularity of simulation components for diverse operational scenarios.
  • Perform rigorous testing, validation, and verification activities to uphold simulation accuracy and robustness.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Work closely with technical manager and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget, while meeting quality benchmarks.
  • Engage in continuous learning and application of emerging technologies relevant to simulation and training systems.

Qualities We Value

  • A degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a related technical discipline, with a strong foundation in systems engineering, software development.
  • Proven experience in simulation systems development, ideally involving manned and unmanned land platforms.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage challenges.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical team and communicate system designs and status to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated  team development experience, with a commitment to fostering an inclusive and innovative work environment.
  • Knowledge of SDLC, industry standards and best practices in simulation and defence system engineering preferred.
