We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of large-scale software systems for public sector and healthcare clients. The ideal candidate will possess experience with large scale software systems design and implementation, a deep understanding of software development and cloud technologies, particularly AWS and Azure, and will be adept at creating scalable, multi-tenant architectures. This role requires strong leadership skills to guide both software development and systems engineering teams through complex projects.

• Design end-to-end architecture for large-scale software systems, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance. This takes place at pre-sales stage and leads into the delivery / implementation phase.
• Lead the development of multi-tenant solutions hosted on AWS and Azure, aligning with best practices and industry standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications and architecture designs.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to software development and systems engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to enhance system performance and developer productivity.
• Ensure that all architectural designs comply with security and compliance requirements.
• Conduct system performance evaluations and recommend enhancements to meet business goals.
• Document architecture designs, including diagrams and specifications, for future reference and team knowledge sharing.

Qualities We Value 

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role with a focus on large-scale software systems.
• Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms, specifically AWS and Azure, with experience in designing scalable, resilient architectures.
• Strong understanding of multi-tenancy concepts and implementation strategies.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in guiding software development and systems engineering teams.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Experience with design / implementation of complex data architectures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect).
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
