Title:  Senior Engineer, Video Analytics, GEC

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Mobile App Developer to join our Video Analytics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications that interface with video analytics systems, enabling real-time insights, visualization, and control. You will work closely with backend engineers, data scientists, and UI/UX designers to deliver high-performance, user-friendly mobile solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mobile applications (iOS/Android) that integrate with video analytics platforms and services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Optimize mobile applications for performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
• Implement secure communication protocols between mobile apps and backend services.
• Integrate real-time video streaming, playback, and analytics visualization into mobile interfaces.
• Conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and ensure high code quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mobile app performance and reliability.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile development trends, tools, and technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in mobile app development (Android, iOS, or cross-platform frameworks like Flutter/React Native).
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Kotlin, Swift, Dart, or JavaScript.
• Experience with video streaming technologies (e.g., RTSP, HLS, WebRTC) and media frameworks.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and cloud-based services.
• Knowledge of video analytics concepts and integration with AI/ML models is a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with edge computing or IoT devices.
• Familiarity with OpenCV, TensorFlow Lite, or other mobile-friendly ML libraries.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for mobile applications.
• Prior experience in video surveillance, smart city, or industrial analytics domains.
