Title:  Assistant Engineer

Job Description: 

• Review technical specifications/data sheets and technical documents of individual projects.
• Liaise and coordinate with vendors & suppliers for mechanical and electrical drawings to meet customer specification.
• Attend site survey, meeting with client / consultant for project needs.  
• Check all the safety related documents such as MOS, RA, SWP and Lifting plan according to project needs. 
• Request to purchase required materials including consumable items for gen-set.  
• Coordinate and lead factory acceptance test (FAT), site acceptance test (SAT) with customer and ensure all test reports are endorsed. 
• Liaise and arrange for delivery and ensure delivery note to be endorsed by customer. 
• Submit weekly project updates to management and highlight any key issues or concerns. 
• Prepare and submit OMM to customer upon completion of project. 
• Prepare training material, plan and coordinate on-site training. 
• Liaise with customer and attend services according to the schedule. 
• Maintain a proper record of all documents and communications related to the project and MRO services for auditing purpose. 
• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers. 
• Fulfil any other duties as and when required by the team or management. 

Job Requirements:  

• Diploma in electrical/Mechanical Engineering with at least 2 years experiences in engine/genset industries.
• Must have basic knowledge in mechanical/electrical aspect of Power System & Control Panels. 
• Able to read and understand schematic diagrams for genset control system. 
• Able to read and understand site layout drawings and general arrangement drawing of genset. 
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD is required. 
• Good team player with ability to work independently. 
• Must possess good interpersonal & communication skills. 
• Possess a class 3 driving license is an added advantage.
