Job Description:
- Perform Preventive (PM) on Aviation Ground Support Equipment (GSE) in accordance with maintenance checklist and ensure high quality workmanship.
- Carry out any Corrective Maintenance (CM) tasks and solve any problems encountered to ensure smooth operation in the maintenance works.
- Effectively execute any other GSE Work Instructions.
- Carry out the work activities to meet the quality standard and committed turn-around time (TAT).
- Inspect and report any product / service problem and execute corrective action.
- Provide feedback and suggestion to improve on work activities and procedures.
- Promising staff may be appointed as Supervisor to:
- Lead the team of Technicians, Quality Control Inspectors and storeman in the performance of s/no 1-6 to ensures maintenance deadlines are met timely.
- Ensure the workshop facilities, such as housekeeping of shop floor, workshop equipment, tool stores, offices, etc. are in tip-top condition.
- Perform the roles of Operation Controller.
- To act as a customer call center and provide assistance to users on any technical and/or administrative related issues.
- To establish a scheduled plan for PM servicing and monitor them to achieve optimal serviceability to support operation.
- To track and manage the Estimated Time of Recovery (ETR) for PM and CM.
- To track the location of the equipment / vehicles owned by the customer.
- To provide necessary updates on all equipment / vehicle’s serviceability and maintenance status (i.e., Key Performance Indicators) to the customer.
- To collate maintenance data for the purpose of reliability analysis and spares provisioning.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or equivalent qualification relevant to maintenance works.
- At least 1 year of working experience (Preferred) in an automotive or other relevant maintenance related industry (Relevant NS experience also consider).
- Self-driven and excellent team player.
- Minimum Class 3 Driving is preferred.
