- Oversee the operation on-site, ensuring efficient use and allocation of resources
- Ensure that vehicles are maintained according to contract requirements
- Monitor team performance to optimize operations
- Schedule and coordinate regular maintenance and repair work for vehicles to ensure safety and reliability
- Maintain records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections
- Organize and maintain physical and digital files, ensuring that important documents are easily accessible
- Ensure that all vehicles comply with safety and emissions standards
- Stay updated on changes in regulations and adjust fleet operations accordingly
- Coordinate training and development programs to enhance skills and safety
- Analyse fleet performance data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement
- Prepare reports for management on fleet performance, costs, and compliance
- Implement safety protocols and policies to minimize accidents and incidents
- Conduct risk assessments and address any identified risks related to fleet operations.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in fleet management or vehicle maintenance, preferably in a similar role
- Good understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and management
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
