Job Description:

  • Oversee the operation on-site, ensuring efficient use and allocation of resources
  • Ensure that vehicles are maintained according to contract requirements
  • Monitor team performance to optimize operations
  • Schedule and coordinate regular maintenance and repair work for vehicles to ensure safety and reliability
  • Maintain records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections
  • Organize and maintain physical and digital files, ensuring that important documents are easily accessible
  • Ensure that all vehicles comply with safety and emissions standards
  • Stay updated on changes in regulations and adjust fleet operations accordingly
  •  Coordinate training and development programs to enhance skills and safety
  • Analyse fleet performance data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement
  • Prepare reports for management on fleet performance, costs, and compliance
  • Implement safety protocols and policies to minimize accidents and incidents
  • Conduct risk assessments and address any identified risks related to fleet operations.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience in fleet management or vehicle maintenance, preferably in a similar role
  • Good understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and management
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
