Job Brief

You will be part of procurement team supporting & meet project requirements. Candidate shall directly report to Project SCM Manager and Matrix to Head Procurement.

 

Job Description

  • Support Projects SCM manager on project related procurement aspects
  • Report to Project SCM Manager for the appointed buys’ total production cost, supplier timely delivery and Quality performance
  • Accountable and manage material costing for appointed system & meets budgetary requirement
  • Meet timely delivery of the appointed System & supplement Master Production Schedule (MPS)
  • Provide support under SCM Commodity & Competency sections (Eg. Fabrication & Vetronics Group)
  • Work with SCM-MMD group on appointed System/Buys Delivery, Warehousing and Material Distribution
  • Work with SCM-SQM group on appointed System/Buys’ supplier quality performance
  • Engage with Designer for their eBOM and drawings for fabrications of the parts required.
  • Work with Designer, QA and ME to ensure FA/ Print-Review to be carried out for all CAT1 (subcontractor, build to print type) suppliers
  • Identify and highlight potential risks to Project SCM Manager avoid any disruption to production supply.
  • Identify and determine LLT, EUC purchases and potential sole sources for project material purchases
  • Update and share with suppliers change to product/drawings specifications (ECOs) material delivery requirement according to MPS to ensure the supplier is align to ST Engineering Land Systems requirement.
  • Responsible for appointed System/Buys PO issuances and monitoring the PO status and Overdue Report and assist Finance Dept to resolve payment issues with Suppliers.

 

Requirements 

  • Diploma / Degree in Engineering or a related field or an equivalent 
  • Additional qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management a plus
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in the procurement field, preferably in mechanical manufacturing environment and able to read and understand mechanical drawing
  • Singaporean Only
