Job Description:

  • The Pre-sales Executive plays a crucial role in the sales process, acting as a strategic advisor and product advocate. He/she collaborates closely with the sales team to ensure successful sales outcomes.
  • Participate in and lead bid teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling proposals and responses to RFPs (Request for Proposals) and Tenders.
  • Support the Business Development Team: Assist BD representatives in both direct sales and reseller channels by providing technical expertise during the marketing/selling process.
  • Conduct professional product presentations and demonstrations: Showcase the company’s solutions to potential clients to generate sales and meet revenue objectives. This includes proof-of-concept (POC).
  • Build trusted relationships: Establish credibility with sales teams and client accounts, leveraging domain expertise to communicate the company’s value proposition effectively.
  • Carry out tender responses: Respond to complex tender documents from potential clients, addressing functional and technical requirements.
  • Stay informed about products and competitors: Continuously research and understand the company’s offerings and competitor strengths and weaknesses.
  • Ensure operational software: Maintain up-to-date demonstration software versions and relevant messaging.
  • Update sales documentation and collateral: Work with the Business Development Manager to keep sales materials current and relevant.

 

Job Requirements

  • Education: Employers typically prefer candidates with relevant degrees such as Bachelor in Computer Science, Engineering.
  • Certifications: Depending on the role, certifications like PKI, CCNA, ITIL3, ITIL, CCIE, POS, CCNP, PMP, DPS, or ACDX may be required.
  • Skills: Desired skills include knowledge of Linux/UNIX, general security best practices, and awareness of industry trends. Also, have great familiarity with ICT project lifecycle
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent in proposal, presentation and negotiation skills
