Title:  Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Engineer

Job Description:

• Coordinate vehicle bookings upon receiving RFQ requests with controller
• Assign appropriate vehicle working bays with foreman
• Plan and oversee the entire vehicle processing workflow from start to finish.
• Delegate job tasks to workers with foreman assistance
• Ensure workers are informed about their tasks and the specific type of vehicle repairs required.
• Liaise and arrange with CSC and external contractors for component repairs, overhauls, or servicing, with buyer support.
• Track and monitor components sent for repair or servicing.
• Oversee the delivery and receipt of components with third-party vendors.
• Ensure all required documentation (ATR, certification, COC, DN) accompanies physical components.
• Verify that job scopes and relevant documents are accurate and signed off.
• Facilitate vehicle and document booking to QA, in collaboration with controller/ planner.
• Ensure all defects are addressed before vehicle completion and handover.
• Maintain control and tracking of all vehicle in/out movements.
• Report any issues related to spare parts, part numbers, or pricing discrepancies to higher management.
• Accurately record man-hours (MES) against vehicle tasks.
• Verify staff attendance via OTMS.
• Keep workers updated on all ST-related news.
• Prepare and submit fault lists/ quotes to the estimator & IM
• Ensure workers' welfare and proper treatment.
• Ensure the provision of proper PPE, adherence to safety protocols, and staff competency.
• Ensure staff completion of all mandatory training and courses.
• Monitor staff whereabouts as necessary.
• Attend various meetings, including huddles, operations, and productivity discussions.
• Update the HOD with weekly vehicle reports.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical engineering with relevant industry experience
• Pleasant personality and able to communicate well with customers for their request.
• Meticulous and excellent with details. 
• Good knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Excel.
