Role Summary:

As the Manager, Procurement, you will lead and develop procurement strategies that support operational and business objectives within Ops Procurement, specifically focusing on Land Systems Supply Chain Management. This leadership role requires profound expertise in procurement management, strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and team development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve procurement strategies to support company operations and long-term business goals within the Land Systems Supply Chain Management segment.
• Lead and mentor the procurement team, fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and accountability.
• Manage vendor relationships, including supplier selection, evaluation, negotiation, and performance monitoring to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders including engineering, finance, operations, and quality assurance to align procurement activities with organizational requirements.
• Oversee procurement risk management, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, company policies, and ethical sourcing principles.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes by leveraging data analytics, technology tools, and market trends.
• Prepare and present procurement plans, reports, and insights to senior leadership, providing sound recommendations for strategic decisions.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees or professional certifications are advantageous.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Procurement experience will be an advantage, especially in sourcing electrical components and robotics systems.
• Extensive experience in procurement management within a complex engineering or manufacturing environment, preferably with exposure to defense or land systems sectors.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven track record in supplier development, contract management, and cost reduction strategies without compromising quality or compliance.
• Demonstrated leadership ability with experience managing high-performance teams in dynamic environments.
• Proficiency in procurement software and ERP/ SAP systems, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
