Summary

ST Engineering Land Systems is seeking a highly skilled Product Training Section Head to oversee the development, quality assurance, and delivery of training for our product. The role ensures training aligns with customer requirements and contractual obligations while upholding the highest standards of quality and accuracy.

 

Responsibilities

  1. Training Development Coordination:
  • Collaborate with Trainers, RMS Engineers, and Technical Writers to develop comprehensive training materials, including:
  • Training Syllabus
  • Training Programme
  • Training Materials
  • Ensure alignment with contractual and technical requirements during training material development.

 

  1. Training Material Management:
  • Ensure all training materials are complete, accurate, and appropriate for the conduct of training.
  • Oversee the overall quality of the product training package delivered to the customer.

 

  1. Vetting of Training Materials:
  • Perform final reviews and vetting of training materials to ensure completeness, accuracy, and adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Facilitate vetting sessions with RMS Engineers, Design Engineers, and SSE for quality assurance.

 

  1. Conduct of Training:
  • Supervise the execution of training programs, ensuring compliance with safety measures and quality standards.
  • Monitor training schedules and ensure timely delivery of agreed content.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and ensure course objectives are achieved.

 

  1. Knowledge Acquisition:
  • Facilitate the acquisition of product knowledge through collaboration with Design Engineers, OEMs, and participation in product trials and validations.

 

  1. Customer Communication:
  • Issue Course Joining Instructions to customers, detailing training schedules and requirements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer feedback and endorsement of training outcomes.

 

  1. Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor trainers to ensure high performance and effective delivery of training programs.
  • Provide guidance in developing training materials and resolving issues during training sessions.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Must be ACLP trained
  • Minimum of 8 - 10 years of experience in training field, including responsibilities for training development and delivery (Military background preferred).
  • Strong technical knowledge in product engineering and maintenance documentation.
  • Experience in managing training programs, materials vetting, and quality assurance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
