Job description:

  • As the main Deck Loader workshop maintenance supervisor manages and oversees the maintenance and repair of main deck loaders, ensuring their efficient and reliable operation. Key responsibilities include supervising maintenance staff, developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs, ensuring good maintenance standards are adhered and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. And ensuring the daily and monthly KPI are met.
  • Responsible to conduct detailed fault tree analysis to determine the root cause of any peculiar defects or failures, recommend solution to improve the reliability and safety of the relevant systems in the program.
  • Engineering Improvements & Innovation: To introduce engineering improvements and innovation efforts focus on developing cutting-edge solutions to complex problems. Leveraging advanced technologies and methodologies, to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and performance of systems of main deck loader.

  • Repair and Maintenance: Oversee the repair and maintenance of main deck loaders, ensuring accurate and timely completion of work.
  • Safety: Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations, including the proper use of tools and equipment.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and upgrades.
  • Budget Management: Manage the maintenance budget, monitor expenses, and recommend cost-effective solutions.
  • Communication: Communicate with other departments to facilitate smooth operations and address maintenance-related concerns.
  • Training: Provide guidance and training to maintenance technicians on best practices and new technologies.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues related to main deck loader maintenance, ensuring that they are addressed promptly and effectively.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree/ Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proficiency in PLC software and electrical system re-design.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in aviation ground equipment maintenance.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team management skills, problem solving and adaptability.
  • Familiar with MOM regulations and industrial safety regulations and standards.
  • Good team player.
