Job Description:

• Peform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines.
• Diagnose engine problems using diagnostic tools and software.
• Inspect engine parts and systems, such as valves, pistons, and fuel systems.
• Disassemble and reassemble engines and related components.
• Replace or repair worn or defective parts (e.g., bearings, cylinders, gaskets).
• Perform tests to ensure engines are running efficiently post-repair.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Follow safety protocols and industry standards.
• Collaborate with other technicians and departments as needed.
• Stay current on technical updates and service bulletins.

Job Requirements:

• Technical/ Vocational certification preferred.
• Experience as an engine technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of internal combustion engine systems.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and repair manuals.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics.
