Job Description Summary

 

The Inspector will take on an active role in ensuring that vehicles follow LTA’s standards and guidelines.

 

Key Job Accountabilities

  • To perform road worthiness inspection on vehicles and ensure compliance with LTA's standards and guidelines.  
  • To perform monthly maintenance/repairing of test lanes equipment
  • Conduct daily checks, lanes equipment's maintenance and housekeeping of the lanes and its surrounding.  
  • Perform work related tasks as determined by Supervisors / Management.  
  • Must be able to work from different location when required.
  • Any other duties as assigned by superior from time to time.  

 

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Possess a valid local Class 3 Driving License. Class 2b will be an advantage. 
  • At least NTC 2/3 in automotive mechanic / Nitec in Automotive Technology or equivalent  
  • Good teamwork, positive attitude and willing to learn. 
  • Able to carry out shift work duty / Overtime on Saturday when needed.

  • The incumbent reports to the workshop Supervisor
