Title:  Technician

Perform IU / OBU commissioning, diagnostic, repair, replacement and installation

Duties

• Troubleshooting / Replacement Services

• Verify the OBUM system for previous installation records.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues for eligible motorists.
• Clearly explain identified issues and proposed resolutions to motorists.
• Perform installation and removal of IU/OBU devices as per LTA’s guidelines.
• Commission and decommission devices as per LTA’s guidelines.

• Installation Services

• Check LTA microsite to confirm motorist eligibility.
• Handle migration and new vehicle installations.
• Perform installation and removal of IU/OBU devices.

• Administrative Duties

• Ensure a clean, organized and safe work environment.

Conduct

• Always uphold professionalism and good conduct.
  • Deliver excellent customer service throughout the process.
  • Interact professionally and politely with all vehicle owners.
• Punctuality.
• Company issued uniform must be worn at all time while on duty. Uniform must be clean, in good condition and worn neatly.
• Respect managers/supervisors and fellow colleagues
• Obey all company’s rules and regulations
• PPE to be worn where required

Administration

• Working hours 8am to 5pm Monday to Saturday (Rotating Saturday)
  • If a motorist walks in at 5:00pm, perform a basic diagnosis to determine if the issue can be resolved immediately. If not, advise the motorist to return the next day.

• Lunch: 30 min. Time to be scheduled by Supervisor
• Tea break: morning and afternoon 15min each. Time to be scheduled by Supervisor
• Lunch and Tea to be taken in staff pantry
• Use staff changing room and locker
