Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager is responsible for all technical related matters, not limited to identifying and assessing technical training needs, creating tailored training plans, and implementing various technical training methods to enhance staffs’ skills and performance
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring all services and repairs comply with manufactures guidelines and protocols
  • Investigating and respond to customers feedback to team
  • Ability to analyze and diagnose detective parts or components and provide effective solutions to HODs or customers
  • Support HODs in addressing customer questions and complaints in relation to the our products, e.g ICE truck & bus and High Voltage vehicles
  • Provide HODs support for special tools and workshop equipment
  • Perform fault finding, diagnosis and repair (e.g. all ICE engine, turbo charger system, CAN bus)
  • Perform fault finding, diagnosis and repair (e.g. all EV system, Battery Management System, CAN bus)
  • Submit technical report
  • Support workshop in repair and servicing when need arises from time to time
  • Advise and perform in-depth and comprehensive trouble shooting in technical problem with using diagnostic tools, raised by team and perform hands-on repair to the vehicle/components if needed
  • Participate in every PTOs/LTA schedule meeting for all technical matter
  • Work with HODs, evaluating individual performance to ensure training is meeting biz needs and improving performance
  • Identify training needs by consulting HODs & plan in-house training program, external courses for them
  • Developing & delivering training needs that meet STEMOS future biz objectives
  • Meet training needs for company In-house training plan on EV upskilling skills for STEMOS staff
  • Ensure training KPI on mandatory Technical e-Learning 100% is achievable (MAN)
  • Ensure training performance bonus target is 100% is achievable (MAN)
