Job Brief

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Executive in Procurement at ST Engineering. This role is integral to our operations within the Operations Procurement division, and you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to our procurement strategies and processes. By fostering relationships with suppliers and ensuring the procurement of high-quality materials and services, you will play a vital role in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations at ST Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and execution of procurement strategies and plans that align with business goals.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess material requirements and develop sourcing strategies.

• Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure advantageous pricing and delivery schedules.

• Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and quality standards.

• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and industry trends that could impact procurement activities.

• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation, ensuring adherence to internal policies and procedures.

• Participate in the evaluation and selection of suppliers, and support the integration of new suppliers into the supply chain.

• Assist in managing strategic initiatives aimed at reducing costs and improving procurement efficiencies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• Experience in procurement or supply chain management is preferred but not mandatory.

• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Knowledge of procurement best practices and market trends within the relevant industries

• Advantageous for candidate with automotive industry knowledge.

Working hour : Monday - Friday / 8am to 5.30pm
