Title:  QAQC Engineer

As a QAQC Engineer within our Bus Sales team, you will be instrumental in ensuring the highest quality standards across our products and services. You will work closely with suppliers, vendors and customers to maintain robust quality standards for our new vehicle products. You will also matrix report to ST Engineering Mobility Services Ops Excellence Head to support quality improvement initiatives and performing internal quality audits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop testing methods and checklists to check quality of new vehicles.
• Perform quality checks (visual and functional) on new vehicles ensuring they are roadworthy and built to customer requirements.
• Report findings to the team and appropriate vendors or suppliers, and follow up any reworks or other corrective actions to close the findings.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing test processes and automation coverage.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to report testing outcomes and quality metrics.

Requirements:

• Preferably a Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics.
• Experience with working in the automotive industry will be preferred. Fresh graduates will be considered as well.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to submit inspection reports to customers.
• Commitment to upholding quality standards and driving continuous quality improvements.
