Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities: Assist Manager with understanding and identify potential clients, market segments, and emerging trends in the Automotive Solution industry. Develop a comprehensive strategy to target new business opportunities and expand market share with not limited to ADAS, EV Charging Systems, Passenger Information Display Systems (PIDS) etc.
- Client relationship management: Build and maintain good relationships with key clients, including automotive manufacturers, OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and technology partners. Understand their needs, provide exceptional customer service, and serve as the primary point of contact for all business-related inquiries.
- Sales and revenue generation: Assist Manager in developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. Assist in negotiations, prepare proposals, and close deals with clients. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project implementation and customer satisfaction.
- Market intelligence and competitive analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics. Stay up to date with the latest advancements in Automotive Solution technology and identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
- Sales forecasting and reporting: Prepare regular sales forecasts and reports. Provide accurate and timely information on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities.
- Project Management: Execute support plans as part of the customer engagement program, coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects. Ensure that all solutions and proposals are delivered on-time, meeting customer specifications
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Degree/ Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Automation or Logistics. Or any Engineering field.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, sales, project or related roles within the automotive industry, preferably in the Automotive Solution sector.
- Industry knowledge: Posses understanding of the Automotive Solution industry, including market trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscape. Familiarity with Automotive Solution technologies.
- Sales and project negotiation skills: Good sales acumen with the ability to identify customer needs, develop compelling value propositions, and negotiate win-win agreements. Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Relationship management: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders. Customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Strategic thinking: Ability to think strategically, analyze market dynamics, and identify growth opportunities. Good business acumen and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivation and drive: Proactive and results-driven mindset with a good sense of ownership and accountability. Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Travel: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required (approximately 5-20% of the time).
