Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities: Assist Manager with understanding and identify potential clients, market segments, and emerging trends in the Automotive Solution industry. Develop a comprehensive strategy to target new business opportunities and expand market share with not limited to ADAS, EV Charging Systems, Passenger Information Display Systems (PIDS) etc.
  2. Client relationship management: Build and maintain good relationships with key clients, including automotive manufacturers, OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and technology partners. Understand their needs, provide exceptional customer service, and serve as the primary point of contact for all business-related inquiries.
  3. Sales and revenue generation: Assist Manager in developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. Assist in negotiations, prepare proposals, and close deals with clients. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project implementation and customer satisfaction.
  4. Market intelligence and competitive analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics. Stay up to date with the latest advancements in Automotive Solution technology and identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
  5. Sales forecasting and reporting: Prepare regular sales forecasts and reports. Provide accurate and timely information on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities.
  6. Project Management: Execute support plans as part of the customer engagement program, coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects. Ensure that all solutions and proposals are delivered on-time, meeting customer specifications

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. Education: Degree/ Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Automation or Logistics. Or any Engineering field.
  2. Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, sales, project or related roles within the automotive industry, preferably in the Automotive Solution sector. 
  3. Industry knowledge: Posses understanding of the Automotive Solution industry, including market trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscape. Familiarity with Automotive Solution technologies.
  4. Sales and project negotiation skills: Good sales acumen with the ability to identify customer needs, develop compelling value propositions, and negotiate win-win agreements. Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Relationship management: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders. Customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  6. Strategic thinking: Ability to think strategically, analyze market dynamics, and identify growth opportunities. Good business acumen and problem-solving skills.
  7. Self-motivation and drive: Proactive and results-driven mindset with a good sense of ownership and accountability. Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  8. Travel: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required (approximately 5-20% of the time).
