Overall Purpose of Role:

 

Liaise with Managers and VP on hull planning and work preparation for live projects covering: -

 

  •          Build Strategy 
  •          Block Sequence 
  •          Space Management for hull construction
  •          Smooth information and material flow for production.
  •          Target Sheet for individual hull section
  •          Embarkation Plan with respect to block construction
  •          Progress and Budget’s Monitoring
  •          Monthly Reporting 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Distribute Target Sheets to individual hull section 
  • Monitor the production work progress to ensure it meets the schedule deadlines
  • Advise the management of any change to the progress of work, cost implication and schedule impact, as soon as possible and backed up with comprehensive documentation
  • Prepare and update daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports
  • Presentations to division and senior management on project planning, progress updates, manpower planning, etc
  • Improve and maintain quality in Production Planning, Scheduling and Monitoring
  • Recommend changes to work method/ process by reviewing the workflow and work process for improvement and to achieve the operational effectiveness and functionality
  • Identify, troubleshoot recurring problems, and perform root cause analysis study to take effective corrective and preventive measures


Requirements:

 

  • Degree in any engineering discipline related to Marine & Offshore or Civil Steel Structural
  • Able to read and understand Production fabrication drawing
  • Planning and Project Management skills, include fronting of management staffs
  • Experience in 2D/3D software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office especially in Excel
  • Knowledge of other applications of project planning softwares such as Primavera P6 is an advantage, not a must
  • Ability to focus under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical, critical, and logical thinking skills
  • Strong multitasking abilities
  • Possess adaptability to work on-site in construction environment
  • Able to work onboard vessels and at heights

  • Location: Benoi Road (Island-wide transport provided)
  • 5 days work week
  • Working Hours: 7.25am-5pm
