Description:

Responsibilities:

To supervise a team of supervisors and workers in preparation of commissioning of shipboard equipments
Delegate tasks and work accordingly to meet project schedule
Ensure completion of work is on schedule and in accordance to the protocols
Ensure quality of work is up to Contractual and Classification requirements
Ensure OEMs meet Contractual Obligations
Initiate, coordinate and manage commissioning activities with both internal and external parties
Ensure compliance to all Safety policies and regulation
Prepare and maintain commissioning records - observations, testing processes and checklist
Ensures the preparation of safe procedures and guidelines for systematic commissioning and start up of equipment

Requirements:

Diploma or NTC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Possess 3 years’ experience in Shipboard Commissioning or Marine Offshore industry
Knowledge of class requirements & Quality Standard requirements
General knowledge of electrical and Control systems
Able to read and express Marine Systems/Electrical & Automation Equipments related technical drawings, schematic and manual and instruction for execution and compliances
Knowledge and skills in Marine Systems/Electrical & Automation equipment’s operation requirements
Able to organize and communicate to achieve efficient Marine System / Auto Electrical System commissioning
Possess man-management experience to manage up to 50 men, including subcontractors
