Title:  Senior Diesel Technician-Changi

Responsibilities:

Diagnostic and Repair Work:

• Inspect and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in diesel engines.
• Perform repairs on diesel engines, including parts replacement and adjustment.
• Test and adjust engine components using specialized tools and equipment.

Maintenance:

• Conduct routine maintenance services, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tune-ups.
• Monitor engine performance and address any abnormalities to ensure optimal operation.

Technical Proficiency:

• Use diagnostic equipment and tools to troubleshoot and repair engine faults.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service bulletins.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technology advancements.

Customer Service:

• Communicate effectively with customers to understand their concerns and provide expert recommendations.
• Prepare detailed service reports and repair orders, including parts used and labor time.

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Comply with environmental regulations and proper disposal procedures for hazardous materials.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with other technicians and service staff to complete repairs efficiently.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance technical skills.

Requirements:

• ITE Nitec in Mechanical/Marine/Automotive related field.  
• 2 years of experience as a diesel technician or mechanic,
• Hands-on experience with diesel engines and related systems.
• Knowledge of diesel engine systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to work in shipboard machinery room environmental.
• Dexterity to handle small and complex parts and tools.

• Transport provided at: Jurong West & East, Jalan Bahar, Choa Chu Kang MRT, Bukit Panjang, Woodlands MRT, Bukit Merah, Sengkang, Pasir Ris MRT, Tampines MRT, Tanah Merah MRT
• 5 days work week
• Working Hours: 7.45am-5pm
