We seek a creative and detail-oriented Assistant Manager, Marketing Development to join our Defence and Public Security International Business team. The ideal candidate will work closely with the team to plan and manage various international exhibitions to enhance our brand awareness, engage our target audience, and drive lead generation. This role requires exceptional organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

 

 

The Job:

  • Work closely with the Marketing Development team, to plan and manage various aspects of events/exhibitions, including creative development, logistics, budgets, timelines, vendor relationships, and post-event evaluations.
  • Provide administrative support for event bookings and registrations, hotel and transportation, hospitality, logistics, etc.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams from various business areas for content development and brand compliance for all events.
  • Work with external vendors for booth build, hospitality, freight forwarding and such, and ensure key milestones are achieved during the exhibition planning phase.
  • Ensure the smooth execution of exhibitions, including booth build and day-to-day operations.
  • Analyse event performance and reports to make data-driven decisions for the improvement of event/exhibition-related processes.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve event marketing strategies.
  • Undertake other ad-hoc marketing-related tasks when assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in marketing, event planning and execution (5+ years preferred), especially overseas exhibitions.
  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary for exhibitions.
