A dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Engineer offering strong support to the project management team in the development, testing, and delivery of products. Proficient in assisting with product lifecycle management, ensuring quality standards, and supporting cross-functional teams. Ability to manage or assist in managing project timelines, track progress, and collaborate with stakeholders. Able to travel overseas as needed for project-related tasks and coordination with international teams.

• International Travel Requirement:
  • Able to travel overseas for project-related activities including product integration and demonstration, site survey and meetings
  • Able to coordinate and support project activities across different countries and time zones to ensure smooth communication and alignment
• Project Planning & Coordination:
  • Track project timelines, schedule tasks, and monitor deliverables
  • Develop or support the development of project plans, ensure projects are completed within schedule and budget
• Documentation & Reporting:
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including schedules, reports, and tracking documents
  • Assist in the preparation of regular project status reports, outlining milestones, risks, and resource usage
  • Keep track of project files and ensure that all documentation is up to date and accessible
• Stakeholder Communication:
  • Support communication efforts between project teams, customers, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
  • Organize, attend, and taking minutes for project meetings
  • Ensure effective communication between local and international teams
• Cross-Functional Team Support:
  • Collaborate with various teams (engineering, R&D, production) to ensure timely delivery of products
  • Provide technical support and assist in troubleshooting issues during the product development process
  • Gather feedback from teams and assist in refining product designs to meet customer needs
• Product Lifecycle Support:
  • Assist in the development and implementation of product designs, prototypes, and testing procedures
  • Work with engineering and design teams to support the smooth execution of the product development process
  • Help maintain and track product quality through all stages, from concept to production
• Testing & Quality Assurance:
  • Assist in conducting product tests and quality checks, ensuring adherence to engineering standards
  • Document test results, report findings, and contribute to troubleshooting and resolving product issues
  • Help implement corrective actions based on feedback from testing teams and stakeholders

Qualities We Value

• Diploma in Engineering or a related field
• 2 years of experience in product engineering or related areas
• Basic understanding of engineering principles and product development processes
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility and readiness to travel for project-related tasks and meetings
• Working location is in Ang Mo Kio
