Responsibilities:

  • Be the single point of contact minimally for the following but not limited to:
    • Meetings
    • Project Schedules/Timeline
    • Technical system knowledge Gathering, storing and present to the Authority the Firewall Rules, Equipment configurations, Circuit IDs, subscribed bandwidth and others
    • Submitting project team Change Request (CR) for Approval
    • System and Integration Designs
    • List of equipment to be procured for implementation
    • Equipment Rack Layouts and location for implementation
    • Cable Routing plan for all location
    • Bandwidth (BW) requirements for all systems
    • Process and update information to existing documentation
    • Document all risks related to this tender and present them to the Authority for review
  • Be the Point Of Contract (POC) to submit security form for the selected team and sub-contractors to be screen/cleared with appropriate security clearance.
  • Be the POC to present at all Monthly progress meetings, he/she shall report the progress to the Authority.
  • Lead an engineering team to review, modify, design and implementation the new and existing system.
  • Lead the joint effort between the Authority’s appointed vendors and the engineering team for any troubleshooting failure/faults related to the network implementation on the existing system.
  • Gather and confirm the network requirements from all systems including applications connected to the system.
  • Ensure the system comply with Government Cybersecurity standards and design specifications by checks and supervision.
  • Appoint and supervise his/her engineering team:
    • To ensure all systems equipment on-boarding/installation meets the guidelines for the project phases. Provide the project progress report at an authority’s stipulated timing, and conduct monthly project update meeting with the Authority and related Project teams.
    • Record minutes during meeting, detailing summary of discussion and all action items to submit to the Authority no later than one (1) week after the meeting. The minutes shall be circulated to all Authority’s representatives.
    • Monitor, manage and track all outstanding actions/problems and incident items from the minutes. He/she shall ensure that it is registered and to ensure proper closure for all items.
    • Work with his/her engineering team to populate the newly implemented equipment hardware into the GFE monitoring and management system upon installation.
    • Work with his/her engineering team to provide the Authority a detailed inventory list with the equipment hardware / software information and assigned ip addresses to be properly documented and submitted for the authority’s approval.
    • Work with his/her engineering team to populate and submit the System As-built documentation to the authority approval after Onsite Acceptance Test (OSAT) is successfully completed.
    • Manage the GFE readiness and system implementation in order to optimise the system delivery according to the agreed timeline stated in the contract.
  • Highlight any technical or schedule risk regarding the project. He/she shall also present to the Authority mitigation measure with solutions to move the project forward to reduce the impact to the technical and schedule impact.

 

Requirements:

  • IT System Management experience of various aspect in Government system
  • Possess initiative, positive attitude and strong passion in operation support
  • Good communication skills and able to work independently;
  • Able to start work immediately or within a short notice is an advantage
  • Coordinate the contractors, customers and all the resources.
  • Have good knowledge of vendor management and Cloud services.
  • Minimum 5 years experience.
  • Certified with PMP
